Cancellation and refunds

Leave any month. No contract, no permission needed.

No contract holds you in, and nothing is refunded. Those two go together. That is the whole policy. The rest of this page is how to do it for each kind of plan.

Every plan is month to month, or runs for the year you paid for. Nothing locks you in beyond that.

1Step to cancel

On Skool, cancel it yourself in your settings. Everywhere else, one email does it. No phone call, no retention script.

0Refunds

No refunds, no discounts, no pauses. The freedom to leave any month is the reason there is nothing to refund.

How to cancel

It depends on who bills you.

Our communities live on Skool, and Skool handles their billing. Everything else we bill ourselves. Your receipt says which one it is.

Communities on SkoolThe Anti-Franchise, The Profit Room, the NoVA Owners Council (home of the Alexandria Small Business Owners Council), and Business Coach University™. Cancel from the membership settings in your own Skool account. It takes about a minute, and you never have to contact us.

Programs we bill directlyOur advisory programs, The Boardroom and Business Coach Launchpad. Send one email to [email protected], or reply to any invoice. That email is the whole process. We confirm within one business day, and we do not ask why unless you want to tell us.

SoftwareThe Profit CRM and The Launch Suite. Same as above: one email, confirmed within one business day.

Thirty-day programsA Roadmap is paid once, so there is nothing to cancel. If you carry on into the advisory program that follows it, that membership cancels the same way as any other.

01When access ends

When you cancel, your plan does not renew. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and then it stops. Anything we delivered to you, such as a written roadmap or calendar, is yours to keep.

02Annual plans

An annual plan runs for the year you paid for. Cancel any time during that year and it will not renew at the end of it. The year is not refunded, in whole or in part.

03Free trials

Where a room offers a free trial, cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged. If the trial ends and you have not canceled, the membership starts and the first payment is taken.

04Why there are no refunds

Because there is no contract. You never have to stay longer than you want, so you are never paying for something you have already decided against. The price of that freedom is that what has been paid for stays paid for. We say both halves together on every page, because either one alone would not be the real deal.

We do not offer discounts to stay, and we do not pause memberships. A paused seat is a seat another owner cannot use.

05Guarantees

Some programs carry a written guarantee, stated on their own page. The remedy is always more access to us, never money back. It applies when you have shown up, done the prescribed work and taken the action. Extra time on Craig's calendar is capped at twelve weeks. Access to a community is never capped. Details are in the terms of service.

06If we end it

We may end a membership if someone harasses other members, sells to them without permission or breaks confidentiality. In the Alexandria Council, attendance is the product: miss two Councils in a row and Craig calls you, and miss three in a year and your seat goes to the next owner on the waitlist. If we ever close a program ourselves for any other reason, we will tell you in writing first and stop billing you for it.

07Coming back

You are welcome back. Some rooms lock in the price you first joined at only while your membership stays active, so rejoining after you leave may be at the current price. Limited-seat programs depend on a seat being open.
