What is The Owners Council?
A group of local business owners across Northern Virginia, organized into chapters. You meet with your chapter once a month to work through real challenges together. You join a live training online once a month with every chapter. And every day in between, you can learn, ask and work with each other in one private community.
Which chapter do I join?
The one nearest your business. Alexandria covers Alexandria and Arlington. Fairfax covers Fairfax, Falls Church, Vienna, Oakton, Springfield, Centreville and nearby towns. The Dulles Corridor and Prince William chapters are coming soon. You hold one in-person seat, at your nearest chapter, and share the training and community with everyone.
My chapter says coming soon. Can I join now?
Yes. Add your name, and the chapter opens when 3 owners from your area sign up and a place to meet is set. If you want in now, join through Fairfax today, and your seat moves once, to your home chapter, when it opens. That one move is the only exception to staying with one chapter.
I'm in Washington DC or Maryland. Is there a place for me?
DC owners are welcome in the Alexandria chapter now. Maryland and other areas are a later region; apply with "somewhere else" and we'll tell you when it opens.
Is this a mastermind?
Yes, a working one. Some people call it a peer advisory group. Once a month each chapter meets to work on its members' real challenges, with Craig facilitating as a fellow owner rather than lecturing from the front. Add the live training online each month and the private community every day in between, and it's a mastermind that does the work together instead of trading stories.
You're a certified coach. Why say coaching is dead?
Because coaching as most owners know it is one coach on a weekly or every-other-week call, who only knows what you tell them. It can help, but it's one point of view. Craig still coaches. He does it where it works best: live trainings you can replay, answers the whole community learns from, and a room full of owners who see what one coach can't.
How do I reach Craig, and how fast?
Post in the community, on any topic. It is open to you 24/7/365. Craig answers there within one business day, sometimes with a short video reply. This is group coaching, not 1:1 business coaching. That's The Profit Advisory.
What's a hot seat, and do I have to take one?
For part of each meeting, one owner asks the whole room to work on one problem. It's volunteer only. No one is put on the spot unless they ask. Everyone else still gets help with their own business at a small table.
Can a manager, an employee or a sales rep join?
Not if they're on someone else's payroll. Every seat belongs to someone who makes the final call on the money. Independent agents and reps are welcome: if you run your own book of business under a brokerage or a brand, pay your own expenses and keep what's left, you're an owner here.
Is this a referral group like BNI?
No. It's a profit acceleration mastermind. There are no referral quotas and no referral fees, and nobody sells to the room. Members do team up on joint ventures, events and shared leads, but only when both sides want to.
I don't want to open up in front of people who might know my customers.
That's the right worry, and it's why the rules come first. No direct competitor serving the same customers sits in your chapter, no member is a paid vendor to another, everyone signs a confidentiality agreement, and nothing is recorded in the meeting. Craig checks it before your first Council.
What if it isn't for me?
Then leave. It's month to month with no contract and no joining fee, and you cancel it yourself in Skool any month. There are no refunds. Instead of money back, our guarantee gives you more of the room when you do the work and nothing has moved.
Why do the first 10 seats cost less?
The first 10 members, in any chapter, are helping us build the Council: they shape how it runs and give an honest review at 90 days. In return, their seats are $497 a month for as long as they keep them without a break. Every seat after that is $797. If you cancel and come back later, you return at the price of a seat then.
Can I meet Craig before I apply?
Yes. Come to the free Owners Roundtable, one hour on Zoom at 8:00 AM Eastern on Tuesday, October 13 or Tuesday, October 20. It's a working session for owners, not a pitch. Save a seat at the Roundtable.
When and where does it meet?
The Founding Meeting is Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 8:00 to 9:30 AM Eastern, on Zoom, for every chapter. After that, the training is online the first Thursday of every month and each chapter meets in the third week, during the working day. A chapter meets on Zoom until it has five members, then in person in its own town.
